Gibaran Business SchoolThe Gibaran Learning Group consists of four higher education providers, namely Gibaran Business School (GBS), Entrepreneurship Institute Australia (EIA), Tourism Institute Australia (TIA) and Australian Institute of Business Administration (AIBA).

GBS, EIA, TIA and AIBA each have the ability to award qualifications at Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) level. In addition, GBS has the unique ability to award qualifications at the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), and Master of Management (M. Mgt) level.

The origins of the Gibaran Learning Group lie in Gibaran Management Consultants (GMC), a successful South Australian based management consultancy which was founded more than 20 years ago by Dr Selva Abraham. Using the well known methods for manager development of Action Learning and Action Research, GMC developed many managers throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Soon after the introduction of the Vocational Education Employment and Training Act in 1994, GMC, which later changed its name to GBS, invested in the necessary infrastructure to deliver higher education qualifications.

Following gruelling government accreditation processes between 1995-1999, GBS gained an elite status in terms of its degree conferring powers in that it became accredited to award the full suite of higher education qualifications in management, from Diploma through to Doctorates.
