Globalization means growing worldwide interdependence of politics, economics, culture, businesses, and consumers, and it demands individuals, who, with professional expertise and understanding, can provide leadership for companies and their employees. Managers must be proficient with traditional management techniques, but at the same time they must posses social competence and intercultural adaptability.

The manager of tomorrow must not only steer his company on a course to win, but he must also be cognizant of the influence of business on the society, culture, environment, and people.
