UVic Business UVic Business celebrated its sixteenth anniversary in September 2006. Although a comparatively young business school, it has established itself as a national and international leader in its educational approach and in its areas of specialization and has received a number of very coveted awards. While many students come for the Entrepreneurship, International Business, Hospitality Management, or at the MBA level, Service Management specializations, a management option is available to those who wish to tailor a program.

With its emphasis on "international experience", the UVic Business sees true international education as a cultural immersion. Students in the faculty's BCom and MBA programs are immersed in a variety of international settings over the course of their education. Students do group projects with other business students from around the world; they interact with international faculty members; they travel to other countries to study with one of the faculty's exchange partners; during their co-op work term. When it comes to the importance of an international perspective in today's business world, UVic Business practices what it teaches.
