Its broad-ranging strategic alliances in more than 45 countries worldwide include academic exchange agreements with more than two dozen leading management schools in the Americas, Asia and Europe. The School’s innovative programming and global focus attract private and corporate donors. In 1995, distinguished benefactor Seymour Schulich donated $15,000,000 to York University for the business school, the largest gift of its kind in the history of Canadian universities. As a result, the faculty was renamed in his honour. Mr. Schulich’s endowment and subsequent gifts have made possible the creation of scholarships, academic chairs and teaching awards. |
