CIMBA Institute of Management and Business Analysis

The CIMBA programs were established in Italy in 1991. CIMBA represents a Consortium of 35 US public universities dedicated to international studies. The campus is located in the heart of the Veneto region which is one of Europe’s most entrepreneurial areas.

The CIMBA full-time MBA program is an intense, one-year program of study that goes well beyond providing the mere content or knowledge offered by traditional programs. CIMBA is issue-focused and emphasizes the growth and development of core managerial thinking and leadership behavior skills (“soft skills”) necessary for a successful career in management. Thanks to an exclusive educational alliance with Rapport Leadership International, CIMBA is able to provide an accelerated leadership experience. This, coupled with team building challenges, individual coaching, and constant feedback provides participants with opportunities to practice, develop, and improve their leadership behavior capabilities.

In addition, participants are trained in Kepner-Tregoe’s decision making, problem solving, and project management process tools. These skills form the foundation of effective management practices. During consulting and Six-Sigma Projects, participants have the opportunity to apply and perfect these newly acquired techniques.

CIMBA’s class body is typically an equal mix of participants from North America, Europe, and other countries around the world. This international class is no larger than 45 members and the small class size facilitates cross cultural interaction and class participation. The international aspect is enhanced by the fact that participants complete their degree in the United States, at the University of Kansas where they are awarded their AASCB accredited MBA degree.
