The 2006 Times Good University Guide ranks the School 6th among UK management schools, while our teaching was rated ‘excellent’ by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, with the MBA programmes receiving particular praise. We offer eight distinctive AMBA-accredited MBA programmes.

All our MBA programmes consist of a set of core subjects, a wide choice of elective courses and a group business project or dissertation. The MBA emphasises learning from other course members’ managerial experience, and is taught through a combination of lectures and groupwork. The business project and elective courses allow you to build on the core areas, and tailor your own version of the Nottingham MBA.

The School has excellent links with business and industry, and receives substantial funding from the commercial sector and research councils. Our research centres and institutes are actively involved in numerous regional, national and international collaborations, from promoting entrepreneurial start-up businesses to working with government agencies, non-governmental organisations, banks, venture capitalists and the tourism industry.

Leading companies and public-sector organisations, such as Experian, Rolls Royce, Capital One, Frankfurt Airport and the UK National Health Service, send their managers to our Executive MBA programme, which is designed to be as flexible as possible. The Executive MBA programme is for managers with at least five years of professional work experience, and participants can vary the number of modules they take each year, according to their work or other commitments.

We also offer the UK’s first and only MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility. This popular programme includes modules in business ethics, corporate governance, economic crime and corporate social responsibility, which are available to all the School’s MBA participants.

The School has some of the best business school facilities in the UK, with a dedicated building for MBAs on the University’s modern Jubilee Campus. Nottingham is a thriving cultural and commercial centre, and the University offers first-class sports facilities and social events. Nottingham’s central location allows easy access to all major British and European destinations, including London, which is a journey of less than two hours away.
