Liverpool Business School

The School of Management at Liverpool John Moores University is home to a wide range of students, from business undergraduates to PhDs via postgraduate courses in management, marketing and human resources. The School is also active in short courses and consultancy work, and has strong links with industry.

Research

The School is placing an increasing emphasis on research. Currently, this is focused around issues concerning: performance management; sustainable organisations; international business; and organisational learning. Collaboration is a major feature of the work being undertaken, which includes partners from a variety of sectors: call centres, utilities, healthcare, computer software and social housing. Members of the School are active in organising and reviewing for academic events and journals, including the International Marketing Journal, the European Business Review, the European Journal of Management, and the Journal of Fashion.
