Saïd Business School

Saïd Business SchoolOxford is 56 miles (90km) north-west of London, with excellent bus and rail services, and has a population of approximately 180,000. It is strongly identifiable as a university town, with its college spires and 30,000 students. Ancient and beautiful buildings dominate the city, but it is also home to a growing number of light-industrial high-technology companies which have developed from University research or are attracted by the proximity of the University.

Green spaces: There are many parks and gardens to visit. Christ Church Meadow is a popular place to view the boat races during University term times; South Park and Headington Hill Park, Oxford's largest parks, often play host to open-air concerts and circuses; founded as a "physic garden" by the Earl of Danby, Henry Danvers, in 1621, the University of Oxford Botanic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in Britain; finally, the University Parks is a good place to watch cricket, have a picnic or walk by the river-side.
