The School of Management, believed to be the first university-based business school in the country, which in 2003 is celebrating its 40th birthday, continues to build on its excellent reputation for management education. It is one of the few business schools in the country to provide management education at undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and executive levels.

The 2003 Financial Times rankings placed Bradford’s full-time MBA among the Top Ten in Britain and the Top 100 in the world (see the FT 20 January 2003 edition). The October 2002 FT ranking of executive part-time MBAs placed the School among the world’s Top 50. The School had the only FT-ranked part-time programme in the UK north of Warwick.

Understanding the need for flexible study programmes, Bradford School of Management currently offers a number of opportunities to gain the MBA – full time, Executive part time, distance learning, Executive modular, and action learning (for an MBA in Engineering Management).

The Executive modular MBA is especially designed for the busy senior manager who may not have time to attend regular weekly sessions or travel to an evening programme. Our Executive modular MBA minimises disruption to professional life as there are no weekly commitments to a study programme. It targets senior managers with at least five years’ management or business experience after their first degree in order to provide a rich environment of experience.

Attractively set on a historic parkland site, Bradford School of Management has received the prestigious EQUIS European quality accreditation, and was also one of the first business schools in the UK to gain portfolio accreditation for all its MBA programmes from AMBA.
