School of Business
![]() The standards, curriculum and programs of the School of Business at Quinnipiac University have earned it full accreditation from the AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is one of only seven Connecticut institutions and just over 400 in North America to have earned that accreditation. The Lender School of Business Center is the perfect environment for learning: television monitors displaying breaking financial news, case team rooms for case study projects and larger classrooms wired for computer-driven learning. A wide choice of courses prepares you for the complexities of modern business practices, from accounting to finances, to personnel. A recently added major in advertising opens the door to a creative area that is essential for business success. The outstanding faculty are up-to-date on modern business conditions and practices. They are expert communicators in class and encouraging mentors away from the class. They teach curricula that are continually reviewed by the Business Advisory Council, composed of CEOs from nearby corporations. The School of Business also cosponsors more than 150 internship sites to give you first-hand experience in a business environment. School of Business students have studied on site at the American Broadcasting Company, Pratt and Whitney, Stanley Works, Ernst & Young and the Bayer Corporation, to name a few. Finance majors have an opportunity to study the action at the world center of finance -- the New York Stock Exchange- and spend part of their day with Quinnipiac alumni who are members and traders. |
