School of Business AdministrationThis Mission Statement is the impetus behind all strategic planning within the school.
The School exists to create knowledge though rigorous scholarly research and to educate
students in the practice of business. In order to achieve this fundamental goal the faculty
has determined that excellence in the creation and dissemination of knowledge is paramount.

Physically the school is the place where this knowledge creation and transfer occur and as such the environment of the school must be conducive to these activities. This underlying premise has led to the transformation of the school from mere buildings to an environment of which students and faculty are proud and excited to be a part.

The school’s advantages of location, diversity and faculty are the blocks upon which the school has built and will continue to enhance its reputation. The School of Business will become an AAU quality school of business. This plan presents highlights of the strategic priorities over the next five years which will shape the future of the school and help it toward the achievement of its mission.
