The Drexel MBA at LeBow College of Business is designed to provide students with the opportunity to enroll in the degree program that best suits their needs. The flexibility of the quarter system and the wide range of concentrations make a student’s options endless. In general, the MBA curriculum positions the College as a leader in academic excellence and innovation. The curriculum is integrated, student-centered, and business-focused. It reflects the future needs of the business environment. It emphasizes understanding in a functional core that spans each area of discipline and includes unique sequences of classes that emphasize technology, leadership and industry perspectives.
The One-Year MBA is designed for students from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds that want to accelerate their academic experience by attaining a degree in 12 months without compromising quality. The intensive, full-time day MBA is compact, yet comprehensive. The integrated curriculum explores: Enterprise Management, Advanced Functional Core, Analytical Tools for Managerial Effectiveness, Technology Management, Leadership & Strategy, and Applied Knowledge.
The Professional MBA offers concentrations in eleven areas and may be pursued on a full-time or part-time basis. The program requires between 16 and 20 classes and is organized as a two-year program but varies depending on the student’s prior academic record and the number of courses taken each quarter. Students take an initial series of integrated foundation courses followed by one or two areas of concentration in Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, International Business, Investment Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Organization Management, Production and Operations Management, Taxation, or Health Systems Management.
