Lewis University has been recognized as one of America’s best colleges by U.S.News & World Report and by the Princeton Review. The Graduate School of Management, established in 1976, as part of this outstanding learning environment, contributes to the university’s rich tradition of career preparation combined with an emphasis on liberal learning. The Lewis MBA offers a diverse student population, a combination of solid theoretical foundation and current, practical skills to meet the highly complex nature of today’s businesses. The curriculum emphasizes the broad foundations of managerial competence and business leadership, while continually striving to address the most current challenges of the marketplace such as international marketing and finance, project management, and information security.

The Lewis MBA is a part-time program for working adults. Classes are held in the evenings at four campuses in the Chicago metropolitan area. Students who have an undergraduate degree in business can complete the program in 18 or fewer months (taking two classes each eight-week session). Those who wish to attend full time can accelerate this timeframe. Students who have limited backgrounds in business are also welcomed to the Lewis MBA and provided with essential foundation business skills prior to moving on to core courses. Whatever the status, all students can specialize in one of 11 areas of business or can customize their MBA by selecting from among electives offered in finance, marketing, human resources, health care management, technology and operations management, project management, e-business, international business, accountancy, information security, or management information systems.
