The Lally School of Management & Technology founded in 1963 is an integral part of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Building on a heritage of more than 175 years of leadership in science and engineering, Rensselaer's Lally School develops technologically-savvy, entrepreneurial business leaders who can initiate and guide innovation for commercial success. The Lally School Advisory Council provides advice and guidance to the Dean regarding the all academic programs—graduate and undergraduate—as well as the research focus and the overall operations, including admissions, placement, etc. The Council is composed of successful senior executives from large corporations (US and abroad) as well as from smaller, entrepreneurial firms.
