Overview
The University of Alcalá dates back to the late 13th Century. Drawing on seven centuries of academic activity, and with a firm commitment to the future, our MBA, now in its 11th year, has been designed to respond to the needs of future professionals and general mangers.
Academic reputation
The University of Alcalá is a prestigious institution with a long trajectory of providing postgraduate courses, and the Institute of Business Management and Organisation (IDOE), with its many years of experience in training professionals and management teams, is proud to be a part of this. It has brought well-deserved recognition for our Master’s programme. Since 1994, more than 300 students have graduated from the MBA, providing the programme with depth and expertise in developing managers, and also showing its strengths and capabilities.
Our MBA is characterised by close collaboration between academia and business; there are alliances between the University of Alcalá and such first-class global businesses as Siemens, SAP, Philips, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid, and Dalphi Metal and UNICEM.
The programme
The programme’s structure and the selection of its teaching staff guarantees that students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out management responsibilities, key factors in successful business management and direction. Students will also have the chance to live in a multicultural atmosphere, and to acquire the academic and business experience necessary to fulfil their ambitions after completing their Master’s.
All of these aspects, together with our experience, the accessibility of our lecturing staff and tutors and the tests to guarantee the quality of our students, have converted our MBA into an exemplar of public-university postgraduate training, creating an efficient, friendly atmosphere that promotes closer links between the worlds of business and academia.
