University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (College of Business & Economics)
Welcome to UW-W's College of Business and Economics web pages! We are extremely proud of our ongoing tradition of excellence in the College of Business and Economics. From the early 1900's forward, Whitewater has been known throughout Wisconsin as the state "business" school. Today, we consistently provide ongoing measurable outcomes to substantiate our legacy of quality in business and management education. We believe that we are Wisconsin's premier business school on the right-sized campus.
The College of Business and Economics provides students with the skills and knowledge that allow them to succeed in today's global business environment. We stress significant faculty-student interaction. All classes are taught by our outstanding faculty/staff and not graduate students, and many opportunities exist for interaction between faculty and students both in and outside the classroom. Students are frequently involved in projects with industry partners. Students and faculty work together extensively on College outreach activities to assist regional businesses in start-up and ongoing business problem-solving and engage in economic development projects.
The College is committed to fostering professional development by integrating rigorous academic excellence with exposure to real business experiences. We meet our mission under the guidance of a faculty committed to excellence in teaching, sustained scholarship, continuous improvement in curriculum and educational experiences, and relevance in a dynamic and global business environment. The College of Business and Economics has been accredited by AACSB-International (the premier accrediting agency for schools of business world-wide) for over thirty years.
