University of Wolverhampton (Business Schools)
Why UWBS?:
Over its 75 year history, the University of Wolverhampton Business School (UWBS) has grown in size and importance by focusing on the needs of participants and organisations in the region, across the country and throughout the world.
Rated as excellent in the most recent Quality Assurance Agency audits (2006 and 2007) and reflected in the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2007, UWBS continues to build on its reputation for providing management education that meets the needs of participants and employers by combining the highest academic standards with the latest management research.
Its score of 23 out of 24 for its business and management provision, focusing on professional human resource programmes, and its “highly commended” rating for its professional accountancy programmes, demonstrates its commitment to providing the highest standards of teaching, student support and programme design.
UWBS has a faculty of over 80 full-time lecturers and professors drawn from a wide spectrum of management discipline and backgrounds. Many have held senior positions in multinational and blue chip organisations whilst others have worked in the public sector and in not-for-profit organisations.
