The business school of the University of Lausanne is ranked 2nd in Switzerland and offers a top MBA programme in international management within a multicultural setting. The Executive MBA at HEC Lausanne is taught in English by internationally renowned professors based on-site.To maintain high academic standards, our Executive MBA selects participants on the basis of an application file and an admission interview. As a result, the fifteen-month learning experience is optmised.

Classes number 20-30 students and take place within a dedicated and friendly environment. HEC Lausanne maintains good relationships with companies based in the region which means that participants get frequent opportunities to meet and work with local business leaders. Indeed, participants not only gain new skills during the programme, they also gain new business experience through the two main projects (an individual strategy project and a group entrepreneurship project).
The programme is highly international in terms of its content, its professors and its participants. Moreover, the on-campus institutes in Law, Finance, Strategy and Entrepeneurship offers participants the possibility to create their own knowledge nexus.


The wide range of opportunities and the stunning natural beauty of the area largely explains the fact that the majority of past participants tend to remain in Switzerland after their programme. They can however be found in all sectors, from Hi-tech and Bio-tech to traditional Industries to International organisations. The Alumni Association has just celebrated a quarter of a century and it remains active, organising seminars, training and social events on a regular basis.
