Hamburg University of Technology (HSL Hamburg School of Logistics)





The HSL Hamburg School of Logistics was founded in July 2003 as an innovative public-private partnership between the Hamburg University of Technology and the Kuehne Foundation (Schindellegi, Switzerland). In order to meet the current demands in Logistics Management, HSL provides for 3 areas of expertise: a Master of Business Administration Program with specialization in Logistics, a Professional Program and a Research Program.

The MBA in Logistics has been developed to offer a compact MBA for high potential young professionals interested in becoming tomorrow’s managers in logistics businesses. From 2006 onwards, a part-time MBA program is planned to strength participants’ knowledge and abilities to respond in the tough atmosphere of senior management roles. To foster excellence and to enhance innovation, an international competence center for application-oriented logistics research has been established as the third area of expertise at HSL.
